omg, lost control shifting into 3rd

first time i ever chirped 3rd and actually lost control of the car, the roads were a little damp but not slippery, i was goin wot in second from like a 50 roll and on the shift the tires broke loose and the car was sliding to the side:o , i gotta find some time to get my winter tires on, my stockers are 100% worn out, no tread at all after 20k miles and about 80 runs down the 1320

So what are you going to do in the summer months? Because if you're going to go with a 3-season set of shoes, you'll wear those out in less than 10K miles with your driving habits!

Just get some High performance all season tires. I couldn't imagine them lasting long with the way you drive.

I was taking a "hair pin" curve at bit of speed, I hit a snow banks on the inside curve, The CLS Blizzaks jumped on me ... and the CLS went sideways like a foot or so.. a bit sacry since there was an incoming cars on the other side of the road..

yea, when i mix highway and city driving its like 18-19 w/ about 50% highway, 50% city

but when i just drive in the city, and if the roads are dry and its cold out i'll prolly get like 14-15 mpg

i think i got the heaviest high foot on the board

the snow tires i'm gettin are for free cause they had like 5k miles on them off my cousins is300, she turned in her car so shes given me the winter tires, i believe they are 215 or 225 45/17, then in the summer i'll get some max performance tires and put the winter ones back on when it snows

one thing i did wrong w/ the stocks is that i only roatated them once at like 9000 miles, imma make it a habit of rotating everytime i get an oil change

Every 5k miles, when the oil (mobil1) gets changed. At 30,200 miles, my 03's stock shitelins have LOTS of tread left

ant chirp 2nd. I dont think there has EVER been a time when I had heavy throttle and didnt chirp second.

Try gate shifting. I dont even have headers yet and sometimes can chirp 3rd with 235 555's

i think i chirped third because

- tires are all gone
-road was damp
-it was cold out

w/ tread on any type of tire, reg pavement, and a tranny thats workin right i dont think ANY(FI, spray) auto cl-s should be chirpin 3rd
