OK Stupid question about Comptech Icebox 'Cold Air Horn'
OK folks, how exactly is the clamp supposed to go on this sucker? From what I've seen in the pics (which by the way suck) it appears that the clamp goes around half of the Cold Air horn, while the rear part goes inside the horn?
I am used to putting the clamp around the outside and just tightening the crapola out of it, but it appears that does no secure it very firmly to the airbox bottom. I've got pics, but haven't had time to upload them anyplace, but as soon as I do I will post pics about what I am talking about if still needed.

if i remember correctly, and understand what you're saying... yes, the lower 'horn' goes on the outside of the air box and you tighten the crapola out of a tube clamp on the outside of the air horn.

I thought I had tightened the crap out of it, but apparently didn't tighten enough of the 'crap' out of it because it fell off.
I guess i'll attempt to tighten it up a little more once I get the car out of the shop. Thought it was a little strange because of the way the end of the air horn had two slits in it. Anyone know what the purpose of those slits is for?

Otherwise you’d never be able to tighten it up.
