i read on another site that C&D has a sedan comparison.....results.......1)BMW 330 2)audi A4 3.0 3) Acura TL-S and 4) infiniti g35.............can anybody confirm?

 

Didn't they just do a luxury sedan comparison about 2 or 3 issues ago?

 

 

I doubt the Infiniti would come last, i test drove it, and it is a much better feeling car than any of those.

 

Yeah, I got the issue today. Wait until you see the acceleration #'s it will blow you away. The y say the tl-s 0-60 is 7.6 sec! Yet, later in the issue they review the 6speed maxima and quote the tl-s 0-60 as 6.2. I am so sick of magazine #'s. They are so out of whack. Also, in the section where people write to c&d, someone made a point about how the bmw330ci got a 5.8 sec 0-60 in the cl-s comparo, yet before it was quoted at 6.4. Who the hell knows. I think that the tl-s in 7.6 sec is way off base. Of course, they pick the 330i to win in this 35,000 sedan comparo.

It really is funny how the times for the 330 get better and better as time goes on. When they tested it against the CLS 6speed they must have been using a freak 330 if they were gettin 5-second range times. All other times for the 330 coupe have been about 6.4.

 

The TL-S finished 3rd out of 6. The other cars were the passat w8 and the benz 320.

 

C&D is changing it's name to Car & BMW Driver...


I mean they are nice and all, but they are not the end all be all of cars, geez...

I am definitely not hating...

 

could you list all the cars that were on the test for me? I thought it was an 8 car comparison test? What did they say about the infiniti? How come the acura beat it?
