Alright, i got my OBX headers last night, they look just like everyone elses, the welds look pretty damn good, i dont see what all this fuss is about with quality, i mean, sure ive seen comptech headers and their welds are VERY clean and neat, the OBX look just as STRONG...so i could care less what the fuck they look like as they get discolored anyhow in a few hundred miles, anyways, my question pertains to the warranty card.

we have 30 days to send in the warranty card with a copy of the receipt...ok, but i didnt get a receipt, where can i get a receipt??? what are you other guys with the OBX doing??? also, what about the fact that the warranty says it can only be installed on its intended vehicle (Honda Accord) does that mean we cant get a warranty on the headers??? should we just lie on the warranty card and SAY we have an accord?? i dunno what to do. let me know what you guys are doing regarding this warranty business.

I will be getting mine in a couple of days so in regards to the receipt if I don’t get one in the box. I will just use my conformation that I received by email.
The second part of you question is my concern also. Is there going to be a warrantee for them if we are applying them on our car.

we need to get that question answered.

this is an email that i have recieved to the question if they will fit my car. I hope this doesn't mean read in between the lines in the long run for the warrantee.


I placed an order for the OBX headers I have a 2001 CL-P. I got the info from the CL forum.
Did you receive the order I have placed.
And you can confirm they will fit.

I cannot confirm that they will fit anything except Accord V6, as that what the manufacturer says

 

fuck it, i desided im just going to say i have a 2002 accord coupe....i mean seriously, we all know the headers fit the CL-S and if something were to go wrong, who the hell would know (or better yet, how would they verify) if we have an accord or a CL-S??? and im going to use my billpoint invoice and a confirmation email from ssautochrome as my "receipt" that should be sufficent.

 

i am sure you are right. They can't prove it so i will go your route also unless told other wise.

I just called OBX and they said the warranty is good for our car. However, we need an invoice from SSAutochrome. I just sent an email. Will keep you guys updated.

Darn SSAutochrome refused to send an invoice. They replied with "Use SSAutochrome internet sale $599."
