It's good they fixed it. I had problems with rick case, & they are too far for me. BTW what was the place you got them installed?

I had a feeling it couldn't be the headers. The only electrical part is the O2 sensor.

Good luck with the Headers. I am sure you'll enjoy them

That's great news! You really lucked out there!

BTW, it would be pretty funny if Rick Case Acura refused to do warranty work due to modifications!

It WOULD be funny if they did and you argued...technically, it's a warranty issue anymore (but a good-will issue) in his case cuz the o2 sensor was messed up due to aftermarket installation...ei, it didn't break down by itself. KNOW THYSELF!

So if I put aftermarket bolt on parts like intake, headers, exhaust...Acura has to continue to honor the warranty? Is it OK to do that stuff on a lease? Sorry, but I'm new to the car thing. Thanks.

if you leased the car just dont bothering doing it. Unless you plan on installing and uninstalling the parts yourself. this project could get very $$$ because of the install labor...

It's leased. But my car buddy's are gonna hook me up on the labor, and I may buy the car in the end anyway.

maevonee, please reply.....thanks!!!!

My CEL (check engine light) and VSA icons/lights (both of them) turned on after my header installation.

I'm guessing I messed up my O2 sensor by spraying WD40 on it to help ease it off (I know.....stupid). And that would explain the CEL, but I am worried about the VSA icon/lights.

After you got your new O2 sensor installed, did the CEL AND the VSA icon/lights go away?

Or was there another issue with your car?

Thanks! I really would appreciate your insight....before I rip off my OBX headers and CAI, put the car back to stock, and then take it to the dealer, have them work on it, and then put my parts back on....WOW, lot of work for nothing, if it's the O2 sensor, I'll do it myself.

THANKS!!!

Larry
