I know this topic has been beaten to death over the years, but I always changed my own oil and filter on my '01 cls. I used Mobil 1 synthetic 5w30 and the M1-104 filter.

My question is this still the correct Mobil 1 oil filter to get for my '03 cls six speed? I have read some other posts about a M1-105 and was wondering if the 104 has been discontinued.

Thanks for the previous info on the oil viscosity (20 weight v 30 weight).

 

I use mobile1 5w-30 without any problems.

 

M-105 is the oversized.. The OEM replacement is is M-104.

 

105 is oversized but a good choice if you are looking for better cooling and filtration at no additional charge
