OBX Headers Installed....PART 2
Well like u all read before my dash was lighting up like a christmas tree with the vsa and check engine light after i got my headers installed at this place. anyways i dropped off my car at the dealer and they told me they messed up the o2 sensor on the car. thank god RICK CASE ACURA is the best dealer that they covered the o2 sensor under warrenty..so i get my car back today. im never going back to any other dealer RICK CASE ACURA IS THE SHIT! ! ! they didnt even question any of my mods..unlike all the other dealers i been to in miami...i cant wait to get back in my car. HEADERS ARE THE SHIT!

BTW, it would be pretty funny if Rick Case Acura refused to do warranty work due to modifications!

So if I put aftermarket bolt on parts like intake, headers, exhaust...Acura has to continue to honor the warranty? Is it OK to do that stuff on a lease? Sorry, but I'm new to the car thing. Thanks.

It's leased. But my car buddy's are gonna hook me up on the labor, and I may buy the car in the end anyway.

maevonee, please reply.....thanks!!!!
My CEL (check engine light) and VSA icons/lights (both of them) turned on after my header installation.
I'm guessing I messed up my O2 sensor by spraying WD40 on it to help ease it off (I know.....stupid). And that would explain the CEL, but I am worried about the VSA icon/lights.
After you got your new O2 sensor installed, did the CEL AND the VSA icon/lights go away?
Or was there another issue with your car?
Thanks! I really would appreciate your insight....before I rip off my OBX headers and CAI, put the car back to stock, and then take it to the dealer, have them work on it, and then put my parts back on....WOW, lot of work for nothing, if it's the O2 sensor, I'll do it myself.
THANKS!!!
