o2 Simulator update AMAZING! It works!
So as promised i said that i would get an o2 simulator, put it in, and test it out. Well i did, and all i have is great news! I bought a unit from a website that also sells their stuff on ebay. They have 228 feedback and all is at 100%. I read some of them and they are all good. Some people say that it fixed the P0420 code that i was getting. So I figured, since it works so well for others, why not i try it. So $30 later, i got the simulator and installed it. It connects to the ground of the sensor and the other 2 wires go into the signal wire. Meaning that you cut it in half and one wire goes to the sensor while the other goes to the car. I cleared my codes and started her up. There was a different tone that i could hear and feel. She idles a lot more even now and its a lot nicer. There is more power. Its just great!. The unit is small -> about 1 inch by 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch. They say that there is an LED light in the thing, but i didnt see it when I started the car so I dont know, nor do i really care.
Anyway, so without the simulator, the CEL would come on after 20 miles. I put the sim in and i drove 120 miles today and no CEL codes anymore! I highly recomend these people.
You can completly remove your sensor and use a resistor that they provide with cables soldered to it. I bought it thinking that I would use it, but i cannot remove the sensor as it still reads it and then changes the signal
Shipping took 2 days.

And their ebay auction:

Even though these are "illegal" for on road use, I dont think that anyone other than me is going to be looking under the car anytime soon. This is just a temporary fix until i decide to put in a high flow cat.
Maybe mods can put this into the information thread?? just a thought...

Lol, no actually it sounds realy nice. Deep throaty sound that makes everyone look. I'll see if i can get a high quality recording so that all can hear. I just dont know who and where to go to get it done.
Either way, I have gone thru an entire tank of gas just to see whether everything is alright with the sim. I have no CEL and it works great. Even tho its cold up here, i ran the car inside of a garage (with the tubing on the exhaust to get it outside) and after a while, just felt the sim to see if it gets hot or not. There is no heat generated by it and everything seems legit.
Oh and I dont know if i mentioned this, but it was the smallest one that i could find on the market and thats why i bought it. Its so easy to hook up. With jacking up the car, putting it in, and dropping, it took me 25min. So a cheap, easy, and non time consuming thing install. Nothing but good things to say.

what caused the CEL in the first place? When I got my headers installed the CEL came on for the secondary 02 sensor.... Soo I just bought one too haha, did it really give you more power tho? I was under the impression that the secondary 02 didnt cause a loss of power but thats just what ive heard...

I would imagine he had a test pipe installed to replace the stock catalytic converter which through the CEL code in the first place.
But my guess is these things work like a charm?

You can go much cheaper and put in a set of sparkplug defoulers for 3 bucks.
