agreed...although 45mm offset shouldn't be a problem.

typer & chikai,
there are Superleggeras with a 51 mm offset...is that better or worse? pleeease explain to me what the heck an offset is...im retarded. but those ones with the 51 offset have a bolt pattern of 5/100......does that matter? thank u for helpin me out

+45 or +42 is what you need...

Stock +55 mm on 7"rim
now on 8" rim to keep the wheel centered.... you get +55mm-12.7mm == +42mm offset... +45 mm may keep the wheel "inside" the wheel well a bit more..

only a bolt pattern of 5x114.3 (aka 5x114 or 5x4.5) will work for our cars so dont go and get the 5x100 +51

i'm about to buy some Sumitomo HTR+ from tirerack.

It depends on what you are looking for. I choose the Sumi's because I need all season tires (seeing how it's snowing like a mofo in the N.E.)

I was saving my pennys for the Sueprleggera's too.
Where did you find the best price and what was it?

Also, are you going to drop it as well?

for our confused friends.

I have some 18x8 OZ Superleggras for our CL.

BTW the silver CL on the OZ site is mine.

The offset is +45.
OZ is making a +48 offset next year.

18x8 are unavailable at this time from what Tirerack say a couple of days ago.

The +51 offset is with the 18x9 Superleggras for the s2k rear wheels.

Laterz

I hope to get the 18x8 superleggeras this coming year or spring of 04 (getting married and buying a house in the next year). fortunately there aren't many northeast people that seem to have them! I would hate to see someone else on the street in a ABP TLS sporting those!

Yes... 5 lbs lighter per wheel than stock!

I will try to price match it a local town fair tire .... The only problem is that if I buy those (I will buy them with Yoko ES100), I will have to stock them till next May... and I need to sell the 18" konigs for cheap.... I need to buy summer tires anyways.... It is, the wrong time to buy/sell summer tires/wheels....

Decisions... Decisions... Decisions....

0% interest CC could be helpful here...

16.5 lbs for 18x7 and 18 lbs for 18x8. This is coming from 1010tires:

http://www.1010tires.com/wheel.asp?w...l=Superleggera

Aren't the stock CLS/TLS wheels about 26 lbs, or is that with the rubber?
