Whats up with RDX owners?

Its not the usual filter, tb, supercharger, charge piping, intercooler, charge piping, intake mani.
That could *maybe* get a water to air aftercooler to work, but that will probably lift the blower even higher.

bumping this...
what are the negatives towards this setup? other then the obvious height issue. I was thinking that those superchargers can be had relatively cheap. Someone mentioned the air will be quite hot...
I'm wondering without the intake manifold there, how much the s/c'er really sticks up past the original manifold. Maybe create a bulge in the hood??

oh I just wish there was a CT turbo kit or something.
something that could be put on without serious customization. But my guess is that's not ever gonna happen.
So no turbo for le moi. I aint that good of a mechanic (least I don't trust myself to be able to do it right).
But DAYM that adapter is gonna be the keystone to getting the most powerful S/C J32 i think any of us have seen

Really this wouldn't be that hard to do, both those pieces can be cut just using a CNC Vertical Mill. Although you would have to get a custom hood made if you didn't want it to stick out something like a cowl induction hood. Either way you'll make more power with a turbo any day.

yea but a cl can fit a s/c or turbo in the engine bay so I see no reason to have something sticking out of the hood. J swapped cars dont have any room in engine bay left hence using this.

If you didn't want to pay for a Comptech S/C Kit this could be reasonable option given you have the tools to do the engineering yourself; like a solids molding package such as SolidWorks and the know-how to use it. The machining wouldn't be all that expensive, but then you would have to worry about a tune. I considered doing this a while back but don't have the money to fund it or the time to do the design work.
