Okay that really sucks! Last time my girl tried buying a watch for me and the guy never came through. They took it out of his credit card/bank account that he had on file. They just talked to his credit/bank and they authorized it because he was committing fraud.

Believe me guys, if we wanted to, we could have 5-10 guys show up at his place and confront him. IMO, it isn't worth it for $200 ... the actions Rock Dog is taking are prudent & correct.

Rock Dog,
Contact your local Police Station and ask them what you should do. My father ran a small business for many years and many times a simple call from the local Police with a discussion about passing bad checks, which is against the law, would resolve the issue. While I know that your Police does not cover Mr. Koncur, we can probably find out where he lives in NJ and have them contact them...just a thought. While we like to bitch about the cops, they are generally helpful as long as they aren't chasing you...

I've seen some shady businesmen in the past, but this guy takes the cake. The worst part about this is they all seem to get away with it. Rock Dog, I hope you follow through and don't let this go. I hope that everyone else who's had a problem gets involved too. I'd REALLY hate to see another con man get away with ripping people off like this. Good luck.

If Chris Konkor(sp?) is really his name, then call information in his town and get his god damm address! If you have this guys REAL name, then I don't see why you cannot track this guy down. Hell, he even was doing business with Park Ave! Don't they have SOMETHING on him? Maybe a home address or phonenumber?
You really need to take affirmitave action! forget the agencies. They don't do SHIT!

Ok, we have been trying to keep this off the web, so let's not get everybody all riled up again. My experience with Chris was good, I got my intake, spoke with him on the phone a bunch of times, etc. There are others who have met him & hung out with him. I'm even farther away than Rock Dog. I gave the guy the benefit of the doubt, but now he is ignoring me, and I was his last supporter on this site.

Hey fbazakos you sound like you know Chris personally and I remember reading posts where you staunchly defended Chris's name.. have you been in contact with him? Is he still located in Jersey?</STRONG>

$200 is not worth the effort. That amount of money is not enough to change your lift... Now if it was $1,000 that would be different, and I think that's the limit on higher claims courts or whatever.
Just clip coupons for a month or two and you'll be OK. My old roomate (dropout fat bastard) owes me $160 and I'm making no attempt to get it. I simply don't care. if ne needs that money so bad he can have it.

If I were you guys, I'd file a claim in small claims court. Find out the rules and regulations for filing and whether or not you need to be present.
If you win, he gets a judgement against him personally and that follows him where-ever he goes ...

Words to smile by.... We ran into a guy that took great pride in screwing people and evading service and knew every small claims court game in the book.
My wife works at a law firm, and I did some detective work and found all the property that this jerk owned -- she won her case, and put a lien against his property. Well, nothing happened for about 6 months.
Surprise, the a$$hole went to check on selling one of his apartments, and he couldn't even sell it and couldn't even get a credit card!!!
He fumed about this, but in the end -- justice was served.
It may seem like a hollow (pyric) victory, but that lien stays put like glue!!!!
I doubt it. I can not believe the balls on some people, what a wad! I've enjoyed every moment in this board and am fucking pissed as well that some else out there is using it to exploit our members and there doesn't seem like much we can do about it. My heart goes out to you. I would do what ever it takes to make an example out of this guy. It just shouldn't be permitted.
I just finished viewing the xephyrperformance.com website and I happened to notice that he has set the company up as a LLC. All I can say is GOOD LUCK getting your money back! It's very hard (damn' near impossible) to get money back from these types of companies.
