clunking sound when i start my car....

clunking sound when i start my car....
why is this? it doesn't happen all the time. but when it does, it scares the shit out of me. sounds like something is stuck under the car then is forced out of position. do any of you guys hear this sound too? like i said, it doesn't happen all the time.

Maybe its the family of squirrals
I don't get a clunk when I start the car. There is a noise, maybe similar to your clunk but more like a grmmmpphhhhblat, that happens in about a minute. Its the ABS system charging. My Sienna does the same thing, as well as my older integra.
