Not another one!

I need your opinions...

My CL has been shifting rough the past couple of months. It seems to occur around 2nd and 3rd gear. When i pull out in traffic or take off from a light the car shifts rough (kinda kicks). It is somewhat embarrasing since its an Acura and all. I thought maybe it was because the air conditioning but no luck. I am no stranger to this issue as my car has already had two transmissions. This time i seem to notice the problem alot more than the last. Should i make the trek to the dealership?

Can you all take off from a light at moderate speed and have it shift smoothly? Maybe that is how the car acts under acceleration.

Thanks for the input!

I had the last trans replaced at 65,000 and it now has 81,000. The closest dealer is 45 minutes away so i wanted to get some other opinions. Also, if i am just being paranoid i am out $75.

you can ask them to take a ride with you when you can duplicate the problem

Wouldnt it be reasonable to ask acura instead of having it up to 7 years 100,000.

Some people have had theirs replaced at 80K and they break right after 100K. Why don't they take responsibility and say this, "We will warranty the last transmission that was put in your car for 100K miles from the last trasmission change" This way they cant just put a transmission in a car that will fail in 40K and Acura can just wait it out till the cars are over 100K miles.

I don't know if what i am feeling is slipping or not. The last time i had the tranny replaced i just told them to take a look at it. This time it is very noticeable. Sometimes it will do other weird stuff but that isn't all the time. To think...i almost traded it last month for an accord..regretting that decision now.
