Honestly, I'd say pros: none, cons: catastrophic engine failure. Seriously, you should have some really good reasons for getting NOS other then just the fact that you saw them using it in The Fast and the Furious or something and think it's cool. It's really only for the guys who take it to the track all the time, not at all for just normal driving. I couldn't even imagine trying to use NOS while driving even on a highway let alone a main road.

I think that would be a fair assumption. .... basically, disregard all the mis information propoganda that F&TF put out because they were funded by NOS (the company).

I used to run a Sneaky Pete on my first car, a Subaru sedan with 1.8L motor. I would beat the crap out of the early ricers and actually made a fair amount of money with it until the trans went. If you do decide to run nitrous, I wouldn't recommend more than a 75-100 shot unless you have a built motor. And only shoot at WOT.

ok i know you have to be wot i jsut didnt know the acronym that is all
yeah if you dont youll run the chance of running way to lean and you know hwat happens there
of course you can run gas nozzles next to the nitrous and then you can run huge shots of nitous

Just get a zex kit it only shoots nitrous when your at WOT. It comes with a computer that regualtes the shot only to come at WOT and your air fuel mixture according to bottle pressure so you never run to rich or to lean.

Wow, that's some great insight.
Of course you have extensive experience with N2O, right?
Actually......MR. MUSTANG, I've own a couple of sports cars, one of which was a real cobra (93), and it ran 12.5 @ 109.
(B 303 cam, 75mm TB, 73 Bullit mass air, aluminum drive shaft, 3.73 gear, MSD ignition/electical system, autometer shift light, Steeda upper and lower control arms, BFG Dragradials, Intake spacer, Motorsport 9mm wires, BBK fender mount CAI..........)
I know my shit when it comes to cars......especially STANGS. A friend of mine had an 89 LX and he sprayed conservativly........BANG......blown head gasket. No one I know can "control" NOS usage.....they spray whenever they can. I don't know anyone that has NOS amd hasn't had some sort of NOS related problem.

Anyways, I have a "real" Cobra as well, not sure what that meant...

NOS doesnt cause the problems. Its the tuning that your friends must NOT have done. When a motor is tuned and capable of handling the extra power it will run w/o ANY problems!
Timing, plugs, and A/F ratio is just the beginning. You must also make sure the fuel/cooling systems can handle the extra load as well. Not to mention the different ring gaps and bearing tolerances that are needed for a really big shot.

Its really not that hard to use at all. If you educated yourself a little about nitrous and the different systems that are available you would see that!!!!
I wish you would drop it allready its getting old
