Noise when key first put into on position

I didnt really notice this before but when I put my key into the on position, it sounds like something is screeching in the engine bay. Its only for a quick second. I know I read something about this before somewhere but I couldnt find it. Is this normal? I dont remember hearing it before.

Also today for the first time I couldnt start the car right away. It took about 3 tries to get it started. I think it might have something to do with the immobilizer? after the engine started it looked like the immobilizer thing lit up on the dashboard for a second. The car started fine after that every other time I started the engine. Any ideas on this? Id prefer to fix it now before it turns into a bigger problem.

Oh yeah its a 03CLS6 with about 71k.

How old is your battery? That's a sign of a bad battery or loose/corroded cables.

whenever I turn my car to the on position it does the same thing as well. I think it's normal, but as far as taking 3 times to start the engine, fuzzy is right
