When I'm driving with my windows down and hit sharp little bumps I hear a sound like dime dropping on a glass table like something is loose and jiggling around. Any ideas as to what this could be? I also have a slight vibration when driving above 55 on a smooth freeway, but will check my tire balancing for that one.

Dude i have the same problem, ive taken it to the dealership like 3 times now for it. Ive taken it to the dealership and drive it with the service manager in the car and he hears it, then every fucking time, when i pick up the car, they say they cant hear the noise so they cant fix it. Its soo damn annoying. Please let me know if you find out what it is.

Does your guys' noise also happen sometimes when the speaker is loud and there is bass that rattles the piece or whatever it is making the noise?

i've been having the same problem. i think i traced it to the brake shield. if you give it quick tap, it'll chatter. i found little tiny stones wedged between it and something. i removed a few and it's gotten better.

since i'm not 100% convinced that it's the root of the problem, i'm going to spend tomorrow taking apart all four brakes, clean them and inspect them. and since it's all out of the way, i'm going to make sure all the suspension parts are tight to spec.

Try seeing if your window is tapping your 6 1/2 speaker in the door panel and if it is take it out and cover the back of the magnet with 1/4 foam strips... cuz thats what is soundslike to me since you got a eclipse sound system ....

Figured it out. My stupid lower lock nut for my adjustable Tein shock was loose. Tightened it up with the provided wrenches and all is well. Hope it's the same for you guys.

Mine actually ended up being the sunroof shade, got it at the dealership right now and they are replacing it. Im not sure how I thought it was coming from the right front. I guess sitting in the drivers seat made it sound like it was coming from the right side of the car somewhere. Anyways its getting fixed so thats all i care about.
