94supraTT I dont have anything against you, you can slam f-bods all you want but when you go around saying things that just are not true about performance and reliability then I am going to step in and correct you. I dont know that much about Supras or how much money it takes to build one so Iwould not throw out a comment like "there is no way a supra could hit 11's for 5K", but I do know that I like them and I would never bash one. A friend of mine has a BPU auto supra that runs 12.9@ 110 and it is nice lookin to boot. As far as reliability goes I know a guy that has a cammed LS-1(pewter T/A) with all of the bolt ons and stock heads that has made literally thousands of HARD quarter mile passes and gone through literally hundreds of bottles of the gas on the street and the strip. He has 70K on the engine now and it just dynoed in the 380 RWHP range N/A with stock heads. Sure the valve train is starting to make noise and the bottom end is most definately showing signs of problems but after 70K miles and thousands of quarter passes the thing still runs strong. No flames no arguing just giving you some info that you may not know from personal experience.

I sold my Camaro SS because I was getting married and my wife did not feel comfortable driving it. She also did not like me driving it around because of the attention it got from the other ladies. And Yes, it did get a lot of attention.

He is wrong. And doesn't want to admit it. Although he was a few different discussions going on. So I think he's a bit lost at what he should say to redeem himself. So he keeps changing the subject to hopefully push the conversation on a different direction. And move off of the topics he has been proven wrong about and wont directly answer them. anyway... We were talking brute speed and $ and the 383 will pass emmisions with high flow cats! and be street legal (I dunno about California) BUT ITS NOT PART OF THE DISCUSSION. It was an answer to you can't mod a camaro to run under/in the 12's cheap.

And the other guy posted a supercharger setup that was equal in HP (450), and will certainly pass emmisions.

I thought you have built chevy stuff before? Or have your friends done it? I think if you really had, you'd realize that its easy to put 400hp in a 350 block pretty cheap!
