No luck whatsover

So last week a rock fucked up my passanger side mirror..then last night someone hit and ran on my car in a parking lot!!! The front bumper is scuffed up to shit, paint missing in the very middle point, scuffs all the across the front. the grill and hood seem ok however the hood doesnt sit flush with the fenders and headlights anymore, it sits up about 1/4" toward the front, and the grill is pushed in about 1/2" so all in all, it just needs a new plastic peice called the "front cover bulkhead" according to the parts website in the archives. and it needs the bumper to be totally sanded and repainted...which isnt the worst thing because i wanted to get the license plate holes fixed anyways..so let me ask you guys this, is it going to be cheaper to have a body shop take the bumber off, sand it, bondo the 2 screw holes, and repaint, or would it be better to just get a brand new bumper all together???? do you guys have any guesses on what type of estimate im looking at? im hoping less then 500

If you're having alignment problems with your fender chances are something besides the bumper is bent. It may have knocked back your front core support. Anyhow, if there are no dents in the front bumper, then I'd just have that one replaced. If there are major gouges in it, you may want to get a new one. I personally don't like the idea of plastic body filler on a polyurethane bumper.

I had a small gash in my bumper that was fixed by filling and repainting and it came out 100% perfectly. Then again, I took it to a body shop that the dealer recommends who works on Acuras all day long so that's probably why it's even better than it used to be (getting it repainted actually removed a couple rock chips in the bumper paint).

If it's more than just a small dent or gash in the bumper, then yes, replace it.

Jrock, how much did you pay for your bumper to get fixed?? judging by my pics, do you think it would cost me less to fix mine because i dont have any dents or gashes, just the 2 holes?
