no heat kinda?

car has no heat when at idle.
heat on high only blows cool warm if i rev or drive the car.

the car does not overheat and is normal so im pretty sure the thermostat is good.

Check the air mix motor. Located on passenger side where the dash n center console meet (under the dash board).

Look for a black box about the size of a deck of cards.

With the car running and heater on. Turn the temperature seting from cold to hot and visa-versa while you observe to see if the air mix motor operates the linkages back and forth to open/close heater duct and heater valve cable.

Important to know, does the motor move the heater valve cable (#8) fully to let the hot water in to the heater core?

Also check the mode motor for same type of movement (#5).

Driver side - same/similar MO/area.

yes both works. tool out the thermostat and its looks new but aftermarket from previous owner.

tested it in boiling water and it opens. put it back on and bleed the system with the radiator cap off and the heater on high and still the same thing. only gets warm/hot when i give the car gas.

also both of my fans stays running as soon as i put the key in the on position.

thanks on the help.

Check the heater valve under the hood by the right firewall. Make sure that's opening and closing too. Have an assistant turn the temperature up and down.
