That is one awesome looking CL! I love those wheels. It's interesting seeing it next to the stock Bimmer. I think the lines of the CL are much cleaner.

Mr Big whats the deal with the 330ci what do you think if it.....is it more comfortable than the CL-S....all my friends keep telling me to get it but I just dont see 225 hp moving up from a CL-S 260 hp....is the performance really that much better????

I really like the E46 M3 but I would settle with a mint 330 ci wth 6 speed and sport package....they are both around the same money $40k+ but one would be new the M3 used

CLS - Summer Ride

My friend has a 330 ci. Don't think it's worth the $$$$. They want 40+k for it. My friend really likes the cls. The cls is a good deal for the $$$. I wouldn't even deal with the MB CLK series. Everyone and their mother has them. Only benz i like is the AMG 55

 

no one cares what you think... same way as no one cares that I love my 330ci compared to my old TLS. :P :P

Yep, i would. I would never sit in a 430. I made softer seats in Tech class in 5th grade. They use a fucking piece of plywood for a seat. If i wanted that, i'll go to home cheepo and buy a sheet for 10 bucks.

I may not know much, but damn, those cars are amazing.

I think the 330ci has just a tad more prestige, but is not as hot as your CLS. But hey, you have both, so why knock either?

Personally, I see your CLS, your bimmer, and your nice house in SoCal, and what I do think...this dude's got money! So, why don't you do all of us a favor, and add an XKR to that picture. A black one, preferably. Hell, if you did that, I might even grace you with my presence for a test drive

Acura for its aglity and powerful acceleration....but both equally fast IMO. They are great cars...but the 330 cost 10k more and is NOT really even faster than the CLS...raced em both and stayed neck n neck...so thats a drawback

 

to be honest, when i was deciding on cars, i really wanted the CLS first....but at the same time, i have never driven a BMW b4 and so i decided to test drive one b4 i purchased the CLS....right after, i fell in love with the ride of the 330....so i decided to get the best of both worlds...even tho i could have gotten an M3...=(

But im happy w/ the decision since other peeps can also drive the cars as well...

 

judging by the condition of my CLS (19in wheels and dropped, living in downtown LA), id rather drive the stock 330ci...less worries about hittin potholes and curbin the wheels...plus its easier to park in tight spaces

I think the 330 is a great car...sometimes, i do wonder y i paid 46k for it...which is 12k more than my CLS....I guess part of it is becasue of the prestige, but mostly, it IS an awesome car..i honestly beleive em when they say its "the ultimate driving machine.".....The drive is totally different than the CLS...really stiff for stock, and the car is very very nimble.....sometimes, tho, the ride is not as comfortable as the CLS, but some people may beg to differ....my CLS rides stiffer than the 330 so its hard to judge...but stock for stock, the 330ci. For some odd reason, when racing both cars, the 225 keeps up with the 260....stock for stock.....i guess acuras lose more after the crank...i guess hp numbers dont really mean shit....take the accord v6 for example....240 and its faster than the CLS...WTF?? due to weight prolly....but anyways, The performance of the 330 is better in some aspects but both cars have their ups and downs...for cornering, the 330 is much much tighter and superior to the CLS...acceleration is OK...not much better and throttle response is far better on the CLS, although it improved on the 330 after my CAI.....if u compare both cars, i beleive the CLS would win, only becasue of its "bang for the buck."...I mean a loaded 330 is well over 40k...and a loaded CLS is 34, prolly less now.....but if price/options were equal, the 330 would be a much more solid car....I also beleive that BMW's paint, workmanship and quality is a bit better than Acura as well....But honestly, after driving both cars, u truly get what u pay for. hope this helps, lou.

also LOU, the M3 cannot be compared to the 330ci...esp the SMGII....its a totally different car...its a beast for god's sake...if i were u, get the m3, if it has low miles and is loaded....test both cars on the same day and ull know what im talking about =)
