To my knowledge, I have heard it will be $299.

This is just my speculation... not from the horses mouth.
But $299 was the original price when Doug was going to try and sell on his own.
You will probably find some markup due to demand and when buying through a vendor... like ACP.
My guess would be 3-and some change. I wouldnt except anything over $350 though.

Yea that is true. I'm a business major and I didn't think of that. Shit what am I an idiot?? haha But, yea, since the demand will be very high when they reveal the mystery mod, I'd expect the phones to be going off since people will want to buy them.

Say it is something to do with the cam.
What would that do for our car?
What kinda of performance gains in general would one get with cam changes?
I can't bear the thought of doing anything to our engines because of the weak tranny and warranty-voiding work involved.

I think it's a piggyback computer upgrade for the supposedly "un-upgradable" honda engines. Perhaps that's why all of the cars mentioned for the upgrade are from the honda family.

Computer upgrade......Hmmmm would that result in twenty more Hp and 20 ft/lbs of torque on a N/A engine? If I remember correctly the dyno that doug posted, then the power curve was the same as stock except slightly higher numbers. Although the more I think about it, the more it might be a ECU upgrade. From the dyno the biggest gains were on the car with the CAI and the mystery mod. The car with the headers didn't show that much more performance. Accordingly, maybe the mod is taking a greater advantage of CAI where the stock settings aren't?
