Next Level Racing G-box

What is this thing? It claims to give up to more 15hp but I can't believe it, just curious if anyone actually has it installed in their cars?

works.

The chip you saw online is no different than those "supercharge your car for $35.00" adds online and in the back of Import Tuner magazine. Its a bypass chip that retards your ECu from its stock settings. It works, SOMETIMES!!!, on your basic run of the mill civics and integras. The only problem with the CL is that the J32 motors (which are USDM) don't respond well to the immediate changes set by the chip itself. This is why most CL and Accord V6 drivers like to get their hands on the V-AFC/V-AFCII from ApexI. It allows for the driver to change the Air/fuel and most importantly the V-TEC in the car. On a side note the V-TEC in the J32 motors should be put no lower than 4000 RPM's. I know this may seem like very little to no change from the stock 4400, but it is the healthiest way to run the unit in the car. Bottom line is, save your money for something more reliable. If it seems to good to be true, it most likely is, especially for the CL's.
Very Respectfully,
Benjamin Kim

I don't know about your CL, but my CL and all others reach VTEC engagement at 4800 RPM, not 4400. And from what I've read, with the way the cams and everything else is setup in this car, the VTEC is set exactly where it should be and lowering it may infact hurt performance.
