TL gets a redesign in 2004. I'd look fo the CL to follow in 05. You'll go broke trying to always have the latest. Get the car you want and drive it. My problem is that a manual CL-S *is* the car I wanted 2 years ago but it didn't exist. Now I have to decide it its worth the financial hit to get it now. But if I did get it, I'd be happy with it for a long time.

tks for the reply...05..so that means it will come out spring 04. that would be 2 yrs....hmm..i could live with that
reason i am asking is the 02 audi a4 (other car i am considering) is an all new design and would last a good 5 yrs..still a weak little thing tho

Yep - agreed ... and shame on us for not thinking Acura would come through with the 6-speed. I bought my 01 CLS thinking the SS was gonna be cool (which it is) and that this is as close as Acura was gonna get ....
And we got a nice surprise this year. I really think a 2 year lease is what I am gonna do so I can get that AWD model in 2005

---------------
2002 CL Special AHFC Lease Terms Certificate
$349.00 per month for 39 months with a $1,500.00 down payment. $2,199.00 total due at lease signing (includes security deposit, excludes tax and license). SUBJECT TO LIMITED AVAILABILITY.
Offer valid through: 2/4/2002
---------------
So I figure with less down (don't like putting cash in on a lease), with 15K per year, and perhaps the 2 year lease instead ... maybe $500 per month? I dunno ... we'll see what Acura can do, but I won't find out until at least the MSRP is announced and lease deals after that ... I am hoping for the best, but will look at both buy and lease options.
