Newscoverage of Milpitas Drags
Moomaster_99 posted regarding this a few days ago, but just wanted to give Bay Area people an update:
FOX channel 2 was out at the races last weekend and will be showing a 3 minute segment on the 10pm news tomorrow (FRI) night. I am not sure when during the show it will be aired, so you will just have to sit through it. Just thought you'd be interested...check out streetracing.org for more info.

Malu Nubla is now on channel 5, that Evening Magazine show. Kristen Sze 
As for the races, there sure has been more coverage on them lately. I saw one the other day on races in general around the South Bay.
On Fox, I bet they'll probably only show the freakin Riciest Civic there.

no its not nearly as radical, and the girl situation is improving all the time. The school has become a lot more mainstream, even during the 4 years that I was there. There still are a number of freaks and gay people don't get me wrong, but its not bad, you'll get used to it. I guarantee you'll have an awesome time!
Funny thing, I grew up in So Cal too, Lake Forest/El Toro not too far from you!

You will be sooo disappointed with the selection of females here in the South Bay Area! I already have a gf from LA so I'm not looking. But I have to let you know that after I moved up here from LA, I really noticed a difference. There are very few good looking ones, but very few. Compared to LA, you actually have to look for them; in LA, they are everywhere!
I think there are wayyy to many single guys here compared to single girls. If you try and go to any of the clubs, you'll only see a sh!tload of guys but hardly any girls. And the good looking ones tend to be stuck up.
If you head up to SF, there are much more there that you can choose from. If you really want to meet some fine girls, you have to go up there. Forget SJ.
It ain't like LA for sure. But then you are coming up here for school right? Don't worry about the girls.

I think my roommate is smokin crack if he thinks he can get anywhere down there cuz I know he don't make anything close to 6 figures!! But then, he is a pretty good liar..
But you sure are right about the job/house/car thing that some girls ask all the time; just terrible. I can understand about the job, but the other stuff is pretty bad. Now, they'll even ask if you work for a dot-com cuz they want to make sure their sugar won't suddenly run out!! j/k.

I think my roommate is smokin crack if he thinks he can get anywhere down there cuz I know he don't make anything close to 6 figures!! But then, he is a pretty good liar..
But you sure are right about the job/house/car thing that some girls ask all the time; just terrible. I can understand about the job, but the other stuff is pretty bad. Now, they'll even ask if you work for a dot-com cuz they want to make sure their sugar won't suddenly run out!!

Yea the only thing L.G. is good for is eye candy. It is cool to hang out on the weekends and watch them woddle by. Go down and do some watching.... you will also notice 3 karats is the minimum requirement. No kidding.. check it out.

Moo...yeah that was probably me, I was out there. I saw a black CL at some point during the night, so it was probably you. Did you get a chance to race any? There are too god damn many cars out, Im thinking of seeing what a Thursday night looks like.

Naw....I tried to run last weekend...no one would run with me....I was pretty sad...all the riced up civics and integs..and no one wanted to run the over-sized accord!?! WTF...hehehe...it's probably the humming sound..scared them away...
