Six-speed TL

From AutoWeek:

Acura's 3.2TL Type-S, up to now only available with a five-speed automatic, will soon be available with a six-speed manual. Expect the new transmission to be available later this year.

Just so ya know.

Why? Cuz you bought an auto?

So what... look at it this way you had a brand new CLS a whole year longer then the guys that are bout to buy a manual.

So... no you can get a CLS manual PLUS a whole years rental of a Auto

Yea, and it will only cost me about 8-GRAND deprecation when I sell/upgrade.
That’s one hell of a rental fee for ONE YEAR.

Seems kinda strange that Acura would put at 6-speed manual on a Sedan and not the coupe??

I hope they wait until 2003 for 6-Speed CL.
Mine should be paid off around this time next year.

I could do it now like some of the other RICH BASTARDS on this forum, but I like to have extra $$$$$$$ in the bank.

Maybe they will offer the manual as a "family project kit".

You finish the outside with Zaino *and* they will help finish the inside with the manual (as a family project)....

I can see Midnight Auto running at full steam -- and you thought those missing "-S" stickers were a problem.

Yo, boys
I am happy to hear this cause this becomes another option. I wanted 4 drs, it was not available, I wanted manual, it was not available, but now it gives me a reason to upgrade because I wanted to keep the CLS for about 18-24 months anyway. Enjoy your CLS for now, upgrade soon.

I just read the Article on Autoweek.com and It does not say anything about the Trans. Auto or Manual.

Whats up Soopa?

My guess is 0/60 in 5.6
1/4 mi. in 13.9 .. stock

He's talking about this weeks PRINT version.
You know the one you PAY for.
They don't put everything on the Website for FREE.

Hey I'm ok still! I would rather have an Auto SS than a manual anyway.
