I think it might look better painted black on the black CLS so it doesn't look like a soup strainer.

But looks like you did a quality job.

Yeah, it would probably look better painted black, but nice job. I'm thinking about doing that myself now.

that looks pimp, might look a little better if powercoated gunmetal/black, IMO

Isn't the car black, painting this thing black would make the crome in the background look weird.
Would'nt be better crome/black Vs. black/black

JMO

I would like to see a pic of that think painted black, I dont wanna paint it until i know it will look good.

Currently I love the way it looks.

Wow! Looks great! I never would have thought
the silver grille would stand out like that!
If you painted it black you wouldn't even see
the grill! I vote to leave it! Am interested
in doing this grill myself!

I wish if I can put springs, I am afraid I wont be able to drive in the snow with them in the winter. I'll get stuck alot faster when the car is lower.
