I know the Cl doesn't have many choices for a roof spoiler especially ones that look good.. so when i came across this i just had to share it with the community...Don't say i never contributed

Opinions welcome!!

 

It has been on my watch list for about a week now and its one of my next purchases.

I kind of like the way it has some angling to it compared to the sanoma one. Wether it looks good on the car is another thing

if im not mistaken thats that material hat is super super bendable..if you leave it a certain way it has to be heated up and repositioned....

Nice Pic!....Doesn't look that bad i like the angles of the spoiler that its not just smooth. Gives it some character i might pull the trigger on this considering the price point is rather reasonable.

Not, yet, as you can see, I'm holding it in place with my hairy monkey arm. if you look toward the passenger side it's actually sagging, this was just a test fit. I haven't shaped it and mounted it yet

 

I can't wait to see if this works, especially for the price.

 

Gotcha, that is one hairy arm. I wanna see this on a 2g cl so bad.......

 

I bought one 2 weeks ago. Just havent researched a shop yet to get it painted. Hopefully I can take it to one sometime this weekend.

I just received mine in the mail. First impressions well, not exactly what I expected the spoiler seems like its pure rubber, very flimsy. I guess they made it that way to give better fitment.

 

My Ron Jon lip kit is very soft and flexible also. I bet it is like the same thing. I bet the rj lip kit flexes and vibrates when driving from the wind.

Will do. I'm almost sure that, that lip is not as flexible as this roof spoiler, I mean its almost like a big piece of weather strip. If you hold the spoiler from the middle the two ends will almost touch.

 

You would be surprised. If I hold my front or rear lip from the middle it folds in half like a piece of paper. It will need a lot of brackets to hold it in place. More brackets equals more weight.

 

Oscar that's how my eBay trunk lip was . I hated it .

 

Tell me about it. I'm not really diggin the texture of this spoiler, also if you read the description it says that it must be painted with "flexible" paint. II'm hoping that after painting it will harden up some.

 

the roof spoiler is finally installed!

jason at spoilerking is a good guy, after i used a heat gun on the first spoiler and messed it up he sent out another one to me.

i had to use the epoxy on the ends where the corners are, after a day in the sun they came up a little.
