my original remote died ... and i only had one ... i purchased another of of ebay ( matching codes ) and i dont know how to program it to my car

all the intructions ive found say i need an already programed remote ... is there any way to do it without an orignal remote??

Hopefully this helps. I've done this a million times since my salesman are too lazy to learn. First put your key in the ignition. Then turn the key 2 clicks (dash lights will come on) and press the lock button. You are going to keep doing this process until you hear the locks cycle (click). Once you hear them cycle, leave the key in that place (dash lights on) and press the unlock button. You should then hear the locks cycle again. After you hear that, turn the key off and remove it. To test it to make sure it set, close the door and lock the car then unlock it. If the do the dew, then you are set. To answer your question... no you do not need the original remote. But if you have more than one, you must have the other remote with you and press the lock button after pressing the unlock buton on the first remote. You'll hear a cycle after second remote is programmed. If you have any questions, let me know. I'm hear 5 days a week. I do this at the dealer.
