That's not the same thing as the SLR concept car is it? It does look very classy, and the interioir is way better than the previous generation. But it also looks too much like their CL(Not a bad thing though). I don't really follow roadsters and stuff, but I thought a roadster meant a convertible 2 seater. The top pictures look like it's not a convertible.

 

It is a convertible, a hardtop a la SLK.
I love everything except one thing , the shape of the housing for the spedometer and tachometer is real weird shaped, looks almost liek a grand am. but still wount complain . Fine , fine looking car. Mercedes designers really have put out some marvelous designs lately.

The interior looks a lot like a Chrysler (center vents, steering wheel)! Outside has finally been modernized & looks good & matches the rest of the Benz lineup.

Maybe this time they'll develop a 302hp V8 and 389hp V12 that actually scoot to 60mph in the very high 4's to mid-5's!!

I drove the SL500, 2001, and it's just too heavy and not sporty at all. Just the ultimate "I've got more money than you"-automobile. Nuttin' wrong w/ that!

I'm glad to see the designers at merc-benz got a little imagination. this is possibly the most well proportioned car I've ever seen. oh no wait, I forgot about the A-M DB7. still, damn fine automobile
