Hey guys, I just wanted to introduce myself, I purchased an 03 manual acura CL last april, and am just getting around to driving it (was deployed). Anywho my heated seats werent working, but I searched and found the forum, it looks great! Quick question, is Ron Jon like a sponsor of the website or the owner? I was looking at his page, and his wheels and kits are sick!

I know!! I've been printing out some of this plethora of information. I only have 33k on my car and I have a few small issues, one of my headlights is flickering from time to time and my heated seats dont work. The do it yourself section is phenomenal!

Your headlight needs a new ballst, I just replaced mine yesterday.Ron Jon is a sponser on the forum, not the owner. And as far as your heated seat check the 2nd gen TL forum. They have a thread on how to fix them. And most importantly, WELCOME!

My headlight was flickering the other day too, now it seems to be fine.
I am wondering how much you paid for a ballast, and does a 99 TL have the same ballast as a 2001 cl-scuz i work at a dlr and we have a 99 TL sitting around waiting to get raped for parts!

Ballast is the same. I got one wholesale for $320 + $100 for new bulbs + $118 for labor.

goddamn my brotha you got ripped off. last time my ballast went out i got one for $45 and did all the labor myself as opposed to a new ($400) ballast from acura or a used ebay ($240). but to each his own i guess...

I hate these people that say "you got ripped off" but then when i want a ballast for the same great price they paid they cant do it!
Uneless you can get all of us ballast's for $45 then dont brag how cheap you got yours!
