New member 2003 CL-S 6speed exhaust
Hey everyone, just wanted to introduce myself..
recently bought a 2003 cl 6speed, loving it so far and this forum the info here is amazing.
I had a 2008 accord but sold it cuz it was slow, this car is much faster than i expected!
I'll try to get some pics up soon, first question I had was exhaust based. Does anyone happen to know if it is possible to fit an eisenmann exhaust on our cars or they are strictly just for bmw and mercedes? I'm just interested in sound.
Thanks,
G

Three Wheelin'
Look into headers, light weight crank pulley and Cold Air Intake and you'll be capable of hitting the 13's in the quarter mile. Our stock exhaust is VERY good, you can gain sound but not power really. Welcome Aboard!

thanks all for the welcomes!
Yea, as far as perfomance mods, those are along the lines of my plans..headers, lightweight crank pulley, intake, also lightweight wheels. For the intake i'm intending to get the icebox, anyone know of any significant improvements with a conventional CAI?
If I get performance mods, do I have to tune the ecu with an ems or will the gains come without any necessary tuning?
Also, I've been looking around for the neuspeed short shifter that everyone is talking about but it seems like it's discontinued, what's the best way to find one?

For the short shifter go to
http://www.pspectuning.com/shifterKits.php
order the 98-02 Accord kit and email the guy and tell him its for an 03 CL. There is a place for the 03 CL kit but no price or pics. A few members on here including myself have this kit and its pretty nice, adjustable height and throw.

Icebox and other CAIs yield similar gains. Its all about sound and cost. Icebox is the quietest and stock looking. The rest are louder and most of them will hum since the resonator is removed. But I havent heard too many compaints about the noise from the other CAIs, they're just louder then the icebox

Ok that's cool that it is not less gains than a regular CAI, i was concerned since it's so stock looking that maybe it's not as effective. My biggest reason for the icebox is to minimize the chances of hydrolock.
Thanks total2f for the short shifter lookout, I will probably order this. In general I've been noticing my shifter is not as precise as I'd like it so I think i'll try to get those corsport bushings as well to help. Ahh, so many mods, so little time.

Whats up with RDX owners?

That is correct.
And I loved how quiet the Icebox was, especially compared to the open element setup Im running at the moment.
