New to the list

Hello all,

I just picked up a new 03 CL-S about 3 weeks ago. I traded in my "like new" 97 SHO. So far I'm really enjoying the new ride:-)

I was just curious, at 34 am I the average age owner, or is this a much younger/older crowd? Also, any CLS owners in the North East part of MA, around the Lowell area?

This is a great site with lots of good info. I look forward to being a member for some time to come!

...a bit more

I should have also mentioned that the day I brought my new CLS home, the first thing I added was my hard wired Passport 7500 (it's no V1, but good enough for these parts of MA). I also picked up some custom fitted Weathertech mats from mats.com. I just hate a dirty interior:-). In addition to the mats and the 7500, I installed my own factory mud guards. I was also going to go with a rear spoiler, but I actually perfer the look of the car without it!

Welcome.....

This is a mostly 20’s crowd here, but there are a few well into their 50’s & 60’s as well.
And there are a few “silver spoons” that are 16 & 17.
I’m a little bit over the average at 35.

Well, welcome aboard!!

I think you'll find a lot of useful information on here regarding your car. This site will also help you spend money on modifications

The ages on here are mixed. I would say that a majority are mid to upper 20's and under, but like I said, there is a nice mix. One thing that's a fact is that the average age on here is WELL below Acura's demographic, but that's OK, we don't mind that.... we welcome all

I would go with the average age of people driving the CL/CLS in Scottsdale is somewhere in the upper 40s to mid 50s.

But on this board mainly you will find a mid 20s car, cause how many people 50+ actually sit on a forum all day. I mean the old people down here I would be shocked if they own a computer

BTW: Yeah Shawn is just a little punk bitch, there is nothing wrong with being Silver Spooned :P

I am 25 and I pay for my CL-S on my own. Nothing wrong with being silver spooned, I'm just jealous.

Car Specs

Guess I should have included the specs on my car as part of my original post.

It's an 03 Silver CL-S Auto without the Nav system. It's just what I was looking for, color and options. I thought about the 6 spd, but I gave up manuals because of a back problem. I can drive a manual once in a while, but I sit in traffic each day. Stop and go traffic is no fun with a manual and a bad back

Other then keeping my CLS spotless inside and out, I have no plans for any mods.

Welcome mmichel from another former SHO owner. Actually i had two, a 93 and a 97 like you in white. I really liked it, but it was totalled and i had heard great things about the CL-S. It's been fantastic and i'm glad i got it, good luck with yours. I'm 48 by the way and have no problems keeping up with the younger members
