New Headers, Exhaust complete

Just dropped in the full exhaust upgrade, wanted to share some pics. Injen CAI, DC Sports Headers, Magnaflow High Flow Catalytic converter, Tanabe Medalion Touring S Cat-back exhaust.
Install done by Paul in Clifton NJ. Sounds great, a nice powerful deep tone, not too loud. Enjoy the pics!

Wow. Nicely done! Thanks for the pics.
I remember when my Tanabe exhaust looked that good. These pics are inspiring me to go clean and polish my mufflers!
This is the same Paul that builds all the J motors?
Also I wasn't able to watch your vid, maybe because I'm on mobile. You should put it up on YouTube, either way I'm sure it sounds great!

I believe its the same Paul. He's been well known on this site since the old days in the early 2000's. Big time recommend to anyone in the area needing work.

Regarding polishing your mufflers, I tried this stuff for the first time. Works GREAT!

Awesome, you recommend heat wrap considering the closeness to the radiator and other plastics such as the fans?

Some people believe in it more than others. I'm certainly no expert. I had the wrap and we were wrapping them but couldn't get it wrapped neatly enough to our liking so just decided to abandon it and go without. The headers are ceramic coated anyway.

Looks clean! Might be the angle of the pic, but the right exhaust tip looks a little lower than the right.

Good eye! It is. I just ordered a new set of rubber mounts as I was told the old ones can stretch out over time and I didn't think to replace them when I had the exhaust installed. Hopefully that fixes it. Any suggestions I would appreciate to get it perfectly aligned!

If you still have problems lining up the exhaust tips after getting new rubber hangers there is a little trick you can do. I had to do this with my Tanabe exhaust. I kept the original hangers and just wrapped a hose clamp around them and slowly tightened it until the tips were even.

Looks good. I was going to get DC sport headers years ago but never had the time Just fell by the wayside.

Dumb question, but did you notice a real boost in power after you installed them? I've done a few things suggested here before and I always felt the stated HP increase was exaggerated. Someone told me 30 HP increase with DCs

I had them done at the same time as the exhaust. Between those two upgrades, I definitely felt a power increase. I definitely don't think it was anywhere near 30 HP.
