New Guy "hello"
Just wanted to say how glad I am to find this site. I was starting to think that I was the only person that had ever thought of modding their CL out. I’m the proud owner of a silver 2001 Type S. I‘ve had it about a week and I love it! 
I’ve already order some parts for my car and it wasn’t until after ordering the parts that I thought I might be putting my warranty in jeopardy. 
What I’ve ordered are Nuespeed front and rear sway bars and strut tower brace. I also wanted to order a drop kit via coils and shocks but didn’t know what would work best with the CL. Would love some input on whether the sway bars will void the warranty and what type of shocks and springs to get. I also ordered a billet aluminum fuel door, (had a previous problem with unwanted additives being dumped into my fuel tank and have had one on ever car since. Paranoia I guess).

Congrads bro. The sways nor the shocks are goingot effect your warrenty. I've brought my car back to the dealer numerous times for work with my Coilovers and sways. You will find a lot of help here, just try searching first, so you don't get flamed.

Welcome!! The forums are very helpful. As for your coilover/ shock questioin. I would go with the tein supert sport coilover for around 800-900 cause it comes with coilovers and shocks that are both adjustable.
