New guy...with a dilemma
New guy...with a dilemma
Hey everybody...
Here's my deal: I'm going to buy a new acura vehicle in the next several months. My problem is that I can't decide between the CL-s and the RSX-s. I haven't test driven either car yet. I don't have to explain why the CL is one of the options, and the RSX is a candidate due to the difference in cost and overall ratings. Have any of you had this issue, and why did you end up getting the CL?
I'm not sure what to do (other than test drive) to make my decision easier.
Thanks.

I drove a Integra previous to my CL-S.
I test drove the RSX-S, and I was just not happy w/ the size and shape of the car. It seemed a lil' too bubbly for my taste.
I also wanted something more luxorious and the CL-S was perfect.
My only regret was that I didn't get the NAVI or wait out for the six-speed.
I think this car is incredible for its value.

Go test drive and have fun!
I look at the CL-S as a Luxury Sport Coupe and the RSX as a cool little ricer. The CL-S fits my age and lifestyle better, but I did trade in my 1991 Integra for the CL-S which was (for the time) a cool little ricer.
Each is a different car with a different market.

I like the RSX....I think Acura did a wonderful job with their replacement for the Integra. Problem was, at the time I bought my CLS, I was driving a 98 GSR, before that, I had a 95 GSR, before that, I had a 93 RS. I was sick of small hatchbacks and when I saw the CLS for the first time, I knew it was ON!!!
Try both...it depends what's important to you. I think both cars are an excellent value. Good luck!

It really depends on what you want. If you want something more luxurious and comfortable get the CL. If you want something small and sporty, get the RSX. Also, if you want a car you can mod the hell out of easily go for the RSX since there's a shitload of aftermarket parts for that car, while the CL has a very limited selection of aftermarket parts (practically only your basic bolt-ons, not even a decent looking body kit).
i wasnt even supposed to get the CL i was lookin at sedans cause my mom wouldnt let me get a 2-door car but after we test drove it it was a really nice car and it had the size of a avg sedan on top of that the dealer was willing to bargain i mean i would like to have an rsx but there really isnt room for passengers in the back which i occasionally have i think i am to young to be driving a CL and it is really spoiling me
