Which ebay seller did you buy it from?

We are moving this weekend but will try to post an update within a few weeks. Sorry for the delay

Though my car is getting some paint work done this week which I am pretty excited about. I thought I could live with the blemishes that came with it but I am too OCD.

Hey Vaymoon, when you had these installed was there any problem of them clearing the drive shaft? I ordered some this past week and then wouldn't clear the motor mount unless i removed it, then the down pipe didn't clear the drive shaft, similar experience? ever heard of this?

I finally installed the headers I bought from SRS Tuning via eBay (see details above). The fit was perfect for my 6 speed. My friends and I were also impressed with the quality. I didn't measure the openings but I have some pics if anyone is interested.

The install took about 4.5 hours but it was mostly related to getting the original exhaust out. Once that was done the headers were in in less than an hour. Unbelievable mod for $200!

They were fine. Did not see any areas of concern.

Ponto quick question did you use the gaskets and bolts included or did you use the one you had already?

I used the ones included, except new bolts for the cat since they were rusted.

I can confirm with Ponto. The SRS headers did fit! I had to remove the rear mount to get them on and they were slightly off on the alignment with the down pipe connecting to the the bottom of the front header. But in the end it still worked. Deff feel the difference!

Here's some pics. They fit like a glove. Offer $200 shipped (160 + 40 for shipping), and the seller will take it. You can't beat this for $200 flat.

Clearance for rear motor mount, as you can see there's plenty.

Mine have been fine after 4 months. However last week I started hearing a leak. I have torqued everything back down and it is better, but there is still something small. Thinking it may be a gasket but I haven't narrowed down which one.

Nice. I just bidded a fair amount and got accepted today! It'll be a while til I put it on though, I'll be waiting after my MT swap to do so which shouldn't be too far along down the road. Just a few more parts and it's go time!

Just got my test pipe from heeltoeautomtive. It's an exelerate test pipe and I got the defouler as well so I have no CEL. I must say I love the sound.

Does anyone have a contact number for XS Power or SSAutochrome? I have been trying to order my headers for a month now. Last I heard was that they're in production and I have a 6spd so I need one with that bend to clear the rear motor mount. I'm getting tired of waiting.

Why not buy them from the link that Scotty posted that everyone else that's posted on here with success has purchased from?

I would be absolutely cautious buying from XS or SS Auto.. I got my parts from them. They didn't fit, and I held on to them for over 2 months before they finally got back to me about a return and refund. (I have even read about people on here being refused a refund)

SRS Tuning was very responsive and worked with me in case they didn't fit they were standing by to return them.

Go with SRS..

Well.. i got mine today! Quality and welds aren't bad at all. Except one little thing, they sent 2 exhaust manifolds and left out the intake. It's all getting sorted out so no worries!

what do you mean? What's pictured is was is supposed to be there. 2 exhaust manifold and the J pipe. No one makes intake manifolds.

There is no bend on those to clear a 6speed rear mount and the merge on the J pipe doesn't look very good. it hits the other pipe dead on when it should curve towards the rear of the car more before merging.

oops. what i meant was that they sent 2 of the same manifolds, both with no bending to clear the rear mount

From the pictures, it doesn't look like the rear header will fit. I have a 6spd manual. I guess I might just have to save up a bit more and get comptech.

the rear header won't fit. it was a mishap on shipping and they accidentally shipped both front manifolds rather than 1 of each. but all is well and is being corrected in the process

Personally i wouldnt want those. The 2 flex joints are there so that the crappy alignment wont be an issue, and its one more thing to fail sooner
