Thanks for the heads up, but I wasn't going to because I don't think there will be close to 20 people who will be interested in these. haha.

I won't say the exact price but it's very close to what XS-Power use to sell them for.

I actually asked them if they sell their products to xs and they replied "Yes, it is the same one, xs-power is our old customer."

I'm emailing them and they are responding so we will see what happens. Hopefully I can get one and let you guys know what the outcome is.

alright a little update with my progress:

They told me that they are the manufacture for xspower/ssautochrome. They told me that they could not sell one unit they only sell wholesale (20 is MOQ). They told me if I want to order one set that I should buy it from XSPower.

On the other hand I found these on ebay.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/SRS-Full-T-304-Stainless-Steel-EXHAUST-Header-1998-2002-Honda-ACCORD-V6-3-0L-JDM-/321323096975?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3AHonda%7CModel%3AAccord&hash=item4ad0595b8f&vxp=mtr
I messaged this company and they told me the image on there is accurate. I see that they have a bend but I'm not sure if the bend is big enough for our 6mt.

That's the one. Looks like there's some competition for the same product. Good to hear.

I meant what the XS header's will put out VS Comtech headers. I probably missed the dyno graph.

I don't mind buying them and taking real pictures of them. However, I won't be able to install them for a while. If no one else has any updates with reasons as to why I should hold off then I can go ahead and buy them tonight.

For the record I'm talking about the SR-S most recently linked.

XS are basically comptech knockoffs. Although i seem to recall that the XS was slightly larger at the merge. Numbers will be about the same. Are you running stock headers with the supercharger??

Here is the link that the seller sent me. I'm sure others may have gotten the same response. If anything, it gives the buyer a much stronger argument to request a refund through eBay's Buyer Protection Program because the seller provided a link to the item he/she is selling that CLEARLY show the needed bend. The stock photo in the auction makes it visible, but the link removes all doubt of what expectations should be. I'll purchase a set now.

For the lazy ones, like me, who don't want to click on links all the time:

As promised, I ordered mine a few minutes ago. I'll be sure to post the actual pictures once they show up.

Yeah, I have a shop that will probably pass me no problems, but I don't know how long that will last. I might just wait until I get smog done this year then install the headers and deal with smog problem in 2 years. haha.

I know some shop will pass you for a fee, but I don't want to pay haha. I need to get some comptech headers

I took some pics of the engine bay but the lighting didn't catch the headers Let me take some tomorrow and I'll post it. I just want to be sure I get the specs right.

i was trying to see from the pictures you posted and i thought i could make out headers. I would think you do have them if you have the s/c.

This is the actual rear header that I got in the mail. Again, this is from SR-S, not from XS like the thread title originally suggested.

Please update after you install them.

So tempted to pull the trigger on these right now. Its so hard to find 6 speed header's nowadays, and custom fabbing is way out of my price range #college+gf=broke.

Where do you guys think it would be safer to buy these from, ebay, or direct from the site?

When you get them installed please let me know how it goes. These look really promising for the price. After my email correspondence with SS-Auto/XS I decided I would never deal with the company.

I imagine it would be a pretty easy to fab a similar piece like that. Illegal I'm sure, but harmless enough especially since CT doesn't make them anymore.

What about modifying the existing heat shield to fit over the headers? I wouldn't mind having a temporary heat shield only when I have to smog.

i actually think that would work if the NMOG, CO, NOx and HCHO matched up to that of the comptech headers.

From my understanding the car will pass smog emissions test, just not visual. So if we were able to hide the headers we would not have any problems.

Just an idea.

haha, don't quote me on that. I'm not 100% sure. Hopefully others will chime in.

No one has confirmed if the srs headers will fit.

The front header is pretty unnoticeable unless the smog guy really glances at it, the rear is definitely hidden well. I brought my car to some asian corner smog shop and it passed for $40, the guy saw it but didn't really question me lol

I did thought about welding on brackets to mount the stock heatshield, will do that in the far future when I really have to

Do you just want the measurements for the primaries and the outlet? I can get whatever, but just want to make sure first.

Also, sorry for the delayed response but it will be a couple of weeks before I can test fit these. I've got some more pressing car issues right now involving the body shop so once that's done I'll focus on swapping the headers.

Yes I was talking about the primaries and outlet. You do have the SRS? would be cool to see some pics of inside the primaries to the the joint quality.

Thanks

I bought these but can't install them for awhile since we are moving. The inside of one of the primaries looked fairly clean but the other looked like it will need to be cleaned up inside. About what I was expecting at this price. I would post pics but they are at my buddies until we move. Oh and the eBay seller said they will fit my 6 speed.
