Hey guys I just stumbled upon an awesome deal on an basically brand new CL type s. I've been drooling over the type s with the 6 speed since they first came out. I happened to be casually browsing the 'net at work and stumbled across a nighthawk black cl type s with a 6 speed and only 28k miles on it! I went to the dealership right after work and drove it home that day. I got it for only 17.9 with the pre-owned certification. I traded in my 02 civic SI and moved up to its sexier older brother. I am in complete love with this car!
I have been perusing the forums an looking for some mods to do. I can't seem to find much of anything available for this car. Anyone have any good ideas for modifications and where to get them? I really want to get smoked tail lights, the only thing that I saw was the tint film in the FAQ, only problom is the supplier listed is out of stock and doesn't think they are ever getting any more of them. Does anyone know of anything? I am planning on getting an intake right away, I am looking at getting the v2, from what I've read i seams to be the best one available. I'd appreciate any suggestions on mods and where to get them! thanks all! (I made the misstake of purchasing that worthless MAC chip on ebay when I was drunk before installing it I decided to check out the forums....what a waste of 40 bucks!)

The V2 will not fit on the 6MT. You need to either go Comptech Icebox or AEM, imho

That being said, I've had both the AEM and the Icebox and they both perform well. The icebox definitely helps keeping the air cool (since it's all plastic), but it doesn't have the sound that the AEM does. Performance wise, they're both about the same. Best engine mods for the money: intake, headers, pulleys.

the mod list is pretty big if you want to go all out.

You can mod just about anything depending on how deep you want to go into your wallet.

I too went from an EP3 to a CL-S. Here's some picts of my 04 Civic Si before I traded her in for the CL.





Nice choice on getting the 6 speed. It's the one thing I regret about buying my CL. I should have waited to find a nice 6 speed instead of having the glass tranny, but hey, someday maybe. Anyway, once again, welcome!
