new CL-S

Hey guys....was posting on Honda-Acura.net and was told by 90AccordEX4 to check you guys out. I need a new daily driver and I'm leaning heavily towards a 03 3.2 CL-S Just wanted to say hello and look forward to talking with you again.

It's a great car. I came from a '91 Accord EX to a CLS. Quite a change...

You plan on getting the manual or the auto? If you are getting the auto you might wanna research the transmission problem with it. I believe a couple people have had their 03 CLS trannies die. I don't think they ever resolved the tranny issue since the car was introduced in 01.

Yea, it's a sweet car for the money. Just make sure if you want a manual that you buy real quick. The car is scheduled to go out of production this month and dealers will be left with what's on their lots left. But, because of this you should be able to get a really nice deal

could be too late for manual. when i was getting mine the dealer said there were only 4 left on the whole east coast. that was 2 weeks ago. although he may have meant 6 speed with navi. he also mentioned that there's plenty on the west coast.

Although the CLS auto is nice, if you can get a CLS 6 speed, get it. You won't be disappointed. I had an '01 CLS auto and traded it in for a '03 CLS 6 speed. Much better car overall - IMHO.

I'm not buying a brand new one....I dont like losing several grand the day I drive off the lot...so I am looking for a nice used one with the auto...I am sure the 6spd is nice but I am a lazy mofo and hate driving a manual in traffic. It doesnt have to be a an 03...I guess theres no difference in the 01 and up huh?

Hey that's me! Welcome to the CL board. I obviously came from a '90 Accord to the CL, quite a change indeed

There are quite a few minor outside changes between the '02 and 03', wheels, grill, tail lamps, no fog lights, etc. And in the interior if you get ebony, the hated (by most anyway) bowling ball trim is replaced by brushed metal looking trim, which looks worlds better.

That is the brushed aluminum looking trim. It comes on the 03's with the ebony interior. If you get parchment it comes with the fake wood. Any of the 01 and 02 type S's have the black wood trim I believe.
