Just picked up a 2003 Anthracite CL-TYPE S/ Auto (Bad knee so no stick for me) on 8/30/02 and I am loving every minute of it. I had two quick questions.

1. I know that this topic has been beaten to death in past years, but has anyone had tranny problems with the 2003 autos?

2. When I was at the dealer they were giving me the usual song and dance line about needed wheel locks for the CL's wheel's but I decided not purchase them then but maybe later. Has anyone gotten there stock wheels stolen??

1) hopefully its fixed, i bought the 6 speed

2) wheel locks are probably well worth the 40 bucks

 

1. So far, no report on 03 tranny failure.

2. Yup, it's a must even though the locks only serve the amatuer-intimidating purpose.

Damn man, I paid $30k+ for a car, I better have get the damn wheel locks for free. Things I expected "free" from the dealer were:
- Wheel Locks
- Acura "3.2 CL"Floor Mats all around
- Cargo Net

I got all of that plus the ugly ass (yet very handy) trunk tray without me even asking for them.

 

In Canada wheel locks come with the car!

 

I guess my bargaining skills leave something to be desired.

 

You can buy the wheel locks in any decent auto store for around $20. bucks.
