congrats!!

with the way the spokes fold in, keeping underneath clean is going to be tricky

Ya those are hot. I wish they had a polished finish though. I'm also looking for a clean 5 or 6 spoke in 18's... light weight and forged. Was set on Centerline RPMS... or perhaps the Storms. But $256 for those Hiros in 18's is an incredible price... hmm...

Storms:

they apparently had a large range of offsets available for this model. I'd give em call if you're interested.

ok I just spoke to Mike there and he told me the wheels are made in taiwan but was unsure of the Hiro.

I like the Milano but he Hiro are good looking also...by the way the lip is forged the center is cast and according to them the wheel weighs 21lbs. in 19 x 9.5

I thought I would never say this but good catch

why scratch? alot of companies do this.

forging provides strength and weight savings but cost alot more.

the first priority tho is strength...

having a forged lip gives you that strength you need. the center itself does little for overall integrity of the wheel... so casting all your losing is some weight savings.

perfect sense

Problem with the Milano is the offset that is available. I think the 18x8 only has a +45 at the most.

18X8 with a +45 offset is not plenty if your ride is dropped.

you do realize i own this site right?

ive got a pretty good idea of what can and cant be done... if for nothing but my own trial and error.....

here is the picture of my car used on the Axis Wheels website.
This is when it was dropped on Ground Control Coilovers.

it has since been dropped on Tein Coilovers EVEN LOWER without rubbing as i can set them stiffer.

Just got this from mike...FAWK!! Oh well i'm still getting them...just gotta steer clear of those pot holes...

Actually, I was mistaken, I though the outer was forged, but it is a one piece wheel so that would be impossible. The entire wheel is cast but with a new method that makes them one of the lightest and strongest cast wheels on the market which you can probably see why I would have mistaken them for being forged, because you really can't tell the difference
