I'm sure it will be ugly as hell like every other concept AWD sports/utility car/vehicle hybrid.

Might not, "RD-X's race car-inspired interior " might make it look better.

Also not many concept sports car look ugly IMO.

I tell you, I think we are all going to be in for some very big surprises from Acura in the next few years. I believe that this AWD technology is going to find its way into most of the Acura lineup which will really one-up ALL other manufacturers!

The way it stands now, AWD cars are availible, but many of the systems are old and suck up a lot of gas. A system such as Acura's would be a very nice compromise to make all of their cars better. Just think, and entire line-up of AWD cars would be sweet. But, unlike Subaru, it wouldn't be their shitty, gas-guzzling system but a truly technologically advanced system.

This would really put them ahead of Lexus in this regard, although they have slipped behind in many others. I bet when they thought of how to make a serious market move this may have been one of the only options open to them that has not been done to death already by other companies.

Now, I do feel that Acura should have a switch for its sportier cars that would keep the car in AWD all the time rather than only when it had lost traction. We just have to see how they would split the power if this were the case.

In theory, could the majority of power in the MDX be sent to the read wheels instead of the front?

Wow, how.....futuristic!

I actually love how the mdx looks, so I hope they keep it to that look! If I could have a suv right now it would be the mdx

Oh and, are you sure those things are suv's!! They look like wagons or something...pretty nice imo
