Talking Neuspeed strut tower/bar review

K so yesterday I bought a neuspeed strut tower off a member on another forum thanks to gnutz :-) and installed it last night.

For those who don't know, I get mods just for the sake of getting mods practically. Especially for the engine bay. and this time it was no different. I got the strut bar and when I got home I rased the front of the car off the ground on jack stands. took off the 4 14mm bolts and she went on like a glove.

Results:
I could tell just pulling out of my driveway that the entire front end of the car was MUCH stiffer. and I'm on OEM suspension at the moment.

I have progress rsb and comptech front sway bar with moog links and that made a difference, but then adding this really made driving feel more secure. You would think it would increase the front response thus creating the tail to want to sway more (oversteer) but it's actually not the case. It actually makes the car more harmonic and the car responds more uniformly. I.E the car became more neutral. vs the whole frame waveing after every movement.

On turns it's more stable and way less body roll.

maybe I just really notice things cause I am super analytical and anal about my ride. but hey, it made enough of a difference that I would have paid double to get the same results.

I shit u not it feel like there's 200lbs missing in the front end. finally this car handles the way it should.

I HIGHLY recommend Aziners

This is the first post I've ever seen where someone is claiming to see a gain with an upgraded strut bar. I'm not doubting you on it or anything, it's just that I've never heard of such a gain before. Maybe it's because your on stock suspension at the moment

night and day difference. but like I said I am super analytical and observant so i notice anything and everything when it comes to my own posessions

maybe it's cause I have the upgraded front sway bar that flexes the front struts and adding the strut bar cancelled out the extra movement.. i dunno

but i am super happy with this upgrade.

Good luck finding a one new. It's been discontinued for the 2nd gen CL/TL.

I noticed a slight different with quick turns or jerks of the wheel. Feels like less sway but not a difference in everyday driving unless you corner quite aggressively.

Good piece of eye candy for the engine bay. I have the black one. Kevin had the chrome one.

Peel off that nasty yellow lettering. They are just vinyl stickers.

Have a sticker shop recreate it. Not something I would do though, not worth it.

Do the two strut bars ever touch when your making hard turns?

actually no, they are mounted touching to begin with and there is no resonance or anything. no ill effects from the design/placement. only good things

and I can only imagine it actually stiffens the other bar at the same time since it is sturdier than the oem one and should prevent it from flexing
