Anyone know if they've revised the short shifter to prevent the popping of the shift plate off the center console? I know there's methods around this but I was hoping they had solved the issue.

 

Last i heard they were working out some kinks ( I am hoping the fitment issues we have had) but I have not heard anything in a while. I am thinking about canceling my order tho cuz I might need the money for something else.

 

It's fine if you just shave off abour 1/4 inch from the front of the shift plate underneath.

 

Yeah i know but they are not sending the old one out anymore. I tried to order one over a month ago and they said they were out and are remaking them and then shipping them.

 

The last thing I was told was that Neuspeed was going to get the "test fit" of the revised design done late last week or early this week. Then if all went well they would start production right away. They estimated about a week from start of production until pieces were ready to ship.

So if all is going well, we may see them by the end of next week or early the following week. But I am not holding my breath.

 

as soon as a new fit comes I'll order one.

 

mine is still on backorder. no word yet.

 

just spoke to neuspeed, they still have no eta. they guy said that they are still working out the clearance issue and that his personal *guess* is that it will be another 6 weeks. it better be worth the wait!

I am considering doing the same. These guys just keep stringing me along and it is getting obnoxious.

I did it because I didnt feel like waiting and I needed the $$...once it comes out I may re order...just didnt want it bad enough t wait with no idea on how long it will take.
