Needin to replace engine cradle...

Are the subframes between the 00-03 autos the same as a subframe in the 03 cls 6mt?

when i say engine cradle/subframe, im referring to the rear crossmember that the steering rack is attached to...

i checked part numbers on acuraoemparts.com and of course theyre different... but still wondering if theyre interchangeable.

The short answer is for the part # reasons you state above. With that said, the thread below has alot of good detailed info that may aid any decisions going forward, .

I decided to investigate more, apparently according to part numbers the radius rods are different between CLS auto and CLS Manual, but TLS autos are the same as CLS manuals. I pulled my passenger side radius rod and compared it to the radius rod from a CL Premium and its identical.

Im going to attempt to find a CLS manual radius rod (only $60 new) and see if its different at all.

This is what I found:

Radius Rods; 01-03 CL-P and TL-P
51352-S0K-A01; right
51362-S87-A02; left

Radius Rods; 01-03 CL-S Auto; CL-S6 and 02-03 TL-S Auto
51352-S3M-A01; right
51362-S3M-A01; left

Cross Beams; 01-03 CL-P and TL-P
50200-S0K-A01; rear
50250-S87-A00; front

Cross Beams; 01-03 CL-S Auto and 02-03 TL-S Auto
50200-S0K-A01; rear
50250-S3M-A00; front

Cross Beams; 03 CL-S 6-speed
50200-S3M-A01; rear
50250-S3M-A50 front

It is my guess that if you have a CL-S 6 speed and the front and/or rear beam is rusted/cracked/bent et al. and you can't find either at a salvage yard, for the CL-S6, you can technically use the front and rear cross beams from an Auto CL-S TL-S. However, you will lose the front and rear mounting points, at the beams, for the engine mount dampers included only on the CL-S6. Otherwise, I can't think of any other differences that would not allow one to interchange those cross beams with the 6-speed due to availability for a used part.

my point is. The radius rod that i removed off my cls 6 speed matches the radius rod from one of the AUTO cl prem i parted out. I'm curious whar their physical differences are. Setting how they have different part numbers

03 CL type s manual
51352-S3M-A01 / Rod, R Front Radius
51362-S3M-A01 / Rod, L Front Radius

03 CL type s auto
51352-S0K-A01 / Rod, R Front Radius
51362-S87-A02 / Rod, L Front Radius

01 CL type s
51352-S0K-A01 / Rod, R Front Radius
51362-S87-A02 / Rod, L Front Radius

01 CL prem
51352-S0K-A01 / Rod, R Front Radius
51362-S87-A02 / Rod, L Front Radius

i know the differences between the front/rear beams from the link you posted. I'm not too worried about that anymore.

If you are doing radius rod work and want to 'upgrade' over the soft stock bushings, try the ones on the link below:

Front Strut Arm Bushings - Honda Accord - 16.7103

They fit the CL-S6 and help to stiffen up the front suspension.

I recently looked at a 6-speed and auto to compare the sub frames and the only difference I noticed with the naked eye was that the 6-speeds have 2 additional damper mounts whereas the autos did not. Sorry if this info is different than what you are asking, just sharing what I noticed. Hope this helps!
