I've never tried it, or seen it on an 02 TL. It's easy on my CL cause the chrome trim around the grille is one piece. I just took off the trim and laid the mesh under it and put the trim back on to clamp it down. Sorry we're not much help.

I think the TL's grille is too big for the gutter guard solution....you may be able to find pre-made aftermarket grilles for the TL.

no i dont think they make pre-made grills for it, there i one guy on acura-tl.com who has done it but i havent heard back from him just yet, 02-03 grill's are bigger but i guess u just use more mesh, u soder a extra piece on or somethin, would i be able to stick mesh in just over the stock black honeycomb crap?

I'm trying to think of what exactly your grille looks like....

I forgot to say, I also removed the A and replaced over the mesh so it's visible. I think the gutter guard is 6" wide, so if you could solder 2 pieces together it would probably work. Maybe take the lower chome strip, and the A off and put the mesh behind those.

^^^thats my grill, i have the honeycomb plastic mesh behind my grill already, and my chrome trim doesnt come either i think, i think what i could do is cut my mesh in to 2 pieces and play on over the "A" and one under, like above and beneath the chrome wings, but how would i secure it?

hmmmm, I need to see one in person to see how it all comes apart. you could just paint that plastic mesh body color, that looks pretty good.

ya i could, but it's large honeycomb kind of mesh, maybe this is all to much hassle for whats it's worth, maybe i should just leave it alone, i dunno lol on a better note i debadged the rear but left the big 'A' looks sweeet.
