oh for interior i recommend these...
http://www.superbrightleds.com/1157.htm

scroll down to the bottom, there is a 9LED wedge for all 4 interior lights, and right below it is a 9LED festoon bulb for the dome, you wont be disappointed, everyone compliments the lighting.

I tried buying it and got this website:

http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...9.7013&next=50

For the 4 interior one is this the right one?

921 Wedge Base LED bulb
921 Type with 9 LEDs, replaces 194/168 wedge base car bulbs
Available in White, Blue, Green, Red and Amber LED
measures 1.25 inch long by 0.60 inch diameter

For the Dome one which one is the right one?

You're absolutely right. The dome one isn't much of an improvement and looks a tad ricey, but the map lights are the sh!t. I just put mine in last night and I was like DAMN!

Yes, they light up real bright.

As for LEDs on the exterior, not worth it. I tried a lot. My next mission is to find better bulbs that will last longer, my brake bulbs tend to go out quickly. I'm looking into PIAAs and a certain line of polarg that is only sold in japan. I'll make a post if i find anything interesting.

There has got to be a better place to purchase these locally I would think. Seems a bit pricey for some bulbs once you calculate shipping into it. Doesn't Radio Shack or somewhere sell stuff like this?

02cls - what size did you go with, 921 - 9LED? These seem to be the brightest for me.

chriskh - eh its not really something you will find locally, they require built in resistors. plus if you do your research on these kinds of bulbs, superbrightleds.com actually is quite cheap compared to others.

where did you get the 168 retrofit w/ 24 LEDs? also, you should try the 4410 LED Festoon bulb, it had 9 LEDs and lit up a lot better than the one with 6.

You actually have to search "194/168" for it to show up, and the product name/number is T10-PCB-W24 White LED Lamp. What exactly does "retrofit" mean? I'm ready to order it, but I'm not sure how i'd go about installing it in the dome. Is there a DIY out there somewhere? Right now I have the 4410 LED Festoon bulb in the dome - it's cleaner looking than the OEM bulb, but a lot dimmer. I want mine bright like yours! I'm sure I'm not the only that's wondering how that 24 bulb circuit board is going to work in the dome light that take a festoon bulb.
