welcome to the a-zine. well what are you looking for man? do you want more power? or are you just trying to clean the appearance and stance of your ride a little bit?

for more power, you should start off with some xs power headers which will run about a 100 bucks and you'll be looking a some good power. or you can also pick a CAI (cold air intake) for about 250.

for the cl my first mod would be to do something about the 4x4 boat like suspension. if you dont want to spend $$ on coilovers you can find some lowering springs that will sharpen up your handling a bit for around 250.

just browse the forum and try to use the search function and you will find more than you need to know on here.

lowering your cl would probably be the first thing you should do. The car has decent enough power stock, however more would be nice. But suspension first

Welcome to the site! First of all, where are you located?? I have the same car except mine is SSM with roughly 170K miles (still on first tranny & still going strong). I would say start with suspension as well & try checking out the Black Market section under private sales/trades for some deals. Also, BM has group buys that our vendors provide.

1st, lowering springs and upgrade anti-sway bars. Plus size ultra perf tires next.
2nd, CAI, then headers.

i've seen 2 NBP CL's a while back. one parked right next to me one day at UCO but it wasn't debadged. it was before i had LIQUID on my license plate though, the other time was at arby's. the guy parked right next to me as i was leaving i made the typical "nice car" comment... any chance one of those were you?... I cheated with my debadging, I got rear ended 2 months after getting the car. so i just told the body shop to not put the new badges on the new trunk. but i can help out if you decide to install headers or CAI, I should be getting my crank pulley in soon too...

Badge Marks

try a heat gun/hair dryer and some goo gone on the badge goo (if it's goo and not just ghosting). Use a 100% cotton/terry cloth towel, and not too much goo gone, followed immediately by a wash on the area and all below where the goo gone might have gone. Then a quick polish and that should take care of any paint ghosting left on the car.

I debadged my black Cl-S after it had seen 100k and there was noticeable ghosting. After performing the procedure I just described it was gone. Might need a month to bake in the sun too, but it shouldn't be permanent.

Headers, AEM CAI, debadged, audio system 2-12's, all LED's in the interior and tag light. its my 21st birthday today so i'm ordering a UR crank pulley as a present to myself. so thats soon to come. I would get headers first, thats what i did and i loved them, great power gain for only $100 shipped.
