Need serious help with C/T brake lines

WTF?! i've tried almost every wrench i have to unscreww the rear lines and nothing fits! this is not the banjo nut/caliper end of the stock rubber line. this is the fitting closer to the inner wall of the wheel well. i looked at how-to's but nothing that mentions the actual size.

i don't see how a line wrench would work if none of my open end wrenches (metric or standard) fit

Weird. I didn't had the problem when I put in my Goodridge brakelines. Trying to help but cannot recall which nut/bolt you are talking about. How about a pic?

the nut i'm talking about is really the fitting which terminates the steel line at the rear wheels. it screws into the beginning of the rubber hose and is just forward of that funky tension clip thingy
