I have had my TB done by King Motor Sports, I have a Icebox on the way. Is it worth it to go ahead and also add a TB spacer, thermal gaskets and intake manifold thermal gasket while it's all apart?

 

Yes. How much did king motors charge you?

 

$315 for both the throttle body and TCS valve. Bought them at a scrap yard and they looked great when I got them back.

 

whats the most you could gain w/ TB, intake, and gasket.... like 8hp?

 

This is my take on the thermal gaskets.

If your going to do them you might as well do a EGR bypass. A lot of your heat comes from the exhaust gasses that get rerouted back into the intake manifold.

I'm not saying they won't help, but to get the full effect of reducing the heat you might want to do the EGR bypass.

They can't hurt performance!

you can do the egr block off but it turned on my check engine light and my tcs went out of wack plus i didnt notice any power increase if you have the type s it will prob mess up your vsa so my suggestions dont put the egr block off
